How are the AI NBA picks calculated?

How often are the NBA picks updated?
Twice daily. The 8 AM Pacific run grades yesterday and builds today. The 4 PM Pacific run builds tomorrow once the injury report drops.
What does expected value (EV) mean on the picks?
