Washington DC has one of the more unusual legal sports betting frameworks. Sports wagering is licensed in classes. Class A stadium operators (Capital One Arena, Audi Field, Nationals Park and St. Elizabeths East) hold a two-block exclusivity zone, and Class C operators offer online and mobile wagering districtwide. The DC Lottery's GambetDC app was replaced by FanDuel in spring 2024, and the Office of Lottery and Gaming lists FanDuel, Caesars Sportsbook, BetMGM and DraftKings as licensed operators.
